It’s been a little over five years since we first walked to the crease and started our innings.

Since then we’ve seen some extraordinary events and evolutions in the beautiful game.

AB de Villier’s record breaking 149 off 44 balls. Sarah Taylor making history by becoming the first female to play first grade cricket in Australia. The sad passing of some of cricket’s finest voices in Tony Grieg, Richie Benaud and Tony Cozier. The small piece of sandpaper down Cameron Bancroft’s trousers which sent a seismic shock around the world and left Australia hanging its head in shame…and then the incredible resurrection just a year later. Ben Stokes, in general. Jack Leach and his glasses for that matter too.

So much has happened in five years. The game has evolved.

And now, so have we.
